原爆資料館元館長　原田浩氏

幅広い市民の力　結集を

原爆資料館（広島市中区）の、元館長で、被爆者の原田浩(Hiroshi Harada)さん(78　Former Chief of Peace Memorial Museum　安佐南区)が、核兵器禁止条約をテーマにした市民集会に参加した。

条約を批准させるため

「被爆体験を継承していく必要がある。」

“In order to ratify the Nuke Bombs Ban Treaty, we have to keep on telling testimonies and stories of A-bombed experience, “Mr. Harada says.

パネリストとして出席した原田さんは、今回の条約制定に関し、被爆地が果たした役割を評価。

「ヒロシマのメッセージに力を持たせるには、市民の心に被爆体験をとどめないといけない。私も可能な限り次世代に伝えたい。」と話した。

“To empower ‘Hiroshima Message’, we have to keep in people's mind about A-bombed Survivor’s (Hibakusha’s) experiences, so I will continue what I should do for testimony telling as much as possible.” Mr. Harada continued.

また、原爆ドーム（中区）の世界遺産登録に約165万人の署名が力になった年、平和活動に関心がある人の訴えだけでは世論は動かない。」と指摘。

条約推進の鍵は、幅広い市民の力を結集できるかどうかだと強調した。

原田さんは6歳で被爆。
Mr.Harada was A-bombed when he was 6. 

1993年4月から4年間、資料館長を務めた。
He was assigned as a chief of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum 1993-1997.
